Trump To Link Tylenol To Autism, Report Says
President Donald Trump said his administration on Monday, Sept. 22, is set to release new findings on autism. Avoiding an Asthma Attack
It isn’t always clear why some people have asthma and others do not. What we do know, however, is that it’s probably due to a combination of environment and genetics. Asthma can’t be cured, but its symptoms can be controlled. What is Asthma? Asthma is a condition in which your airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus. This makes breathing difficult, and triggers coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath. For some people, asthma is an annoyance, while for others, it can be a major issue that may lead to a life-threatening asthma attack. What Triggers Asthma? Exposure to certain irr…

Capital Beltway Climate Protest Actually Caused More Pollution, Twitter Users Fume
A July Fourth climate protest that halted traffic on the Capital Beltway has some activists upset, saying the backup caused even more pollution. Protestors kneeling on the road brought traffic to a complete standstill at Route 29 around 12:30 p.m. in Silver Spring, leading to the arrest of 14 people. Some activists say that the action of stopping traffic actually contributed to making the climate worse. Don't do this. Never protest anything in DC by sitting in the Interstate Capital Beltway or any road. All these climate protesters did was make the climate worse by backing up traffic 12…

So-Called 'Silent Killer' Caused One in Five Deaths Worldwide, Study Says
There's something people come in contact with every day that's being called a "silent killer" responsible for about 20 percent of deaths worldwide in 2018. A new study by various top universities has found that air pollution killed 8.7 million people globally in 2018 - about one in five deaths. A major contributor to fatal air pollution was caused by burning fossil fuels such as coal and oil, said the study, “Global mortality from outdoor fine particle pollution generated by fossil fuel combustion: Results from GEOS-Chem.” Exposure to high levels of air pollution can cause respirator…

19: Lockdowns Reduced Pollution, Raised Global Temperature, New Research Reveals
Worldwide economic and social lockdowns due to COVID-19 resulted in cleaner air, but a warmer planet overall, according to new research. The findings by the National Center for Atmospheric Research are a bit counterintuitive. Most people are taught that pollution in the air leads to higher temperatures - which is accurate, but there is more than that going on in the skies. Researchers said that their work highlights the influence of airborne particles or aerosols that block incoming sunlight. When emissions in aerosols dropped last spring, more of the sun’s warmth reached the planet, especi…

At least five people were charged with illegal fireworks possession or use, Barnegat police said. There were so many fireworks complaints in the Ocean County township that its police department posted a heat-sensory map of the displays on Sunday. Fireworks had “the greater Ocean County area looking like M…

Here's Why Taking On Trump Is Sound Strategy
Attorney General William Tong has put the environment at the top of his agenda as Connecticut's chief law enforcement officer. It's a popular stance given that a solid majority of Americans believe in global warming, according to recent public-opinion polls and this five-year survey co-sponsored by the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication. Rising public concern -- in sharp contrast to President Trump's position -- coupled with an increasing trend to combat pollution, has fueled Tong and other Attorneys General efforts to preserve decades-old Clean Air and Clean Water sta…
