A man who walked into a local deli and stabbed two seniors has now been sentenced to up to a decade in state prison, authorities said. Brian Scrooc, 38, of Haverhill, pleaded guilty in connection with the violent attack inside Mark’s Deli on April 26, 2025, according to Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker.
