White Plains Hospital Welcomes First Baby Born In 2026 White Plains Hospital is celebrating its first baby of the new year, hospital officials announced.  A baby girl named Alice was born at 1:03 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, becoming White Plains Hospital’s first arrival of 2026, according to the hospital.  Alice’s parents, Maura and Gabriel, were congratulated by hospital staff as they marked the start of the new year with the birth of their child. Hospital officials said the delivery marked a celebratory moment as White Plains Hospital rang in 2026.

He was welcomed by his parents, Robert and Chloe Kelland of Waltham. Massachusetts General Hospital shared the announcement as families across the region marked the start of the New Year with new additions.
