A 55-year-old Millville woman was killed after she was driving the wrong way on Route 55 on the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 14, authorities said. At 2:17 p.m., Maria Ortiz was traveling in a Chevrolet Malibu northbound on Route 55 when she crossed into the southbound lanes while continuing northbound, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. A BMW SUV was traveling southbound on State Highway 55 in Millville and a a head-on collision occurred between the two vehicles, Lebron said. Carjacking Outside East Orange 7-Eleven: Authorities
A strong-arm carjacking occurred at a 7-Eleven in East Orange on Sunday, Jan. 12, authorities said. At 9:36 p.m., an unarmed suspect took the victim's 2023 BMW SUV at the 7-Eleven at 247 Freeway Dr., a spokesperson for the City of East Orange said. The unoccupied vehicle was later recovered in Newark, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact 973-266-5060.

Philadelphia police have released the photo of one of three men allegedly involved in an armed robbery for a Sony Play Station, authorities said on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Kaleem Johnson was reportedly involved in the robbery on Thursday, June 27 at 2:14 a.m. on the 200 block of Queen Lane, in the 14th District, police said.
