The body of a driver whose tractor-trailer plunged into the Delaware River after a crash on the Delaware Memorial Bridge early Friday, July 11 was recovered Saturday morning, July 12, officials confirmed. In an update Saturday, Delaware River and Bay Authority spokesman James Salmon said that the Bobtail tractor and a deceased male occupant were recovered from the Delaware River at approximately 11:10 a.m. The driver's identity has not yet been released.
