Friends and family are now rallying around the fiancée and the young daughter he left behind. Matthew James Sherman, 42, of Foster, Rhode Island, died May 6 after investigators said he lost control of his truck in Killingly. ‘Their Rock, Their Provider’: Tributes Grow For Lusby Grandfather Killed In Motorcycle Crash A Maryland community is mourning the loss of Jeffrey Alan Glacken, a beloved father and grandfather who was killed in a motorcycle crash. The crash happened at around 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14, in the 9500 block of Cedarville Road, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department. Investigators said Glacken, 54, of Lusby, collided with an SUV in the eastbound lanes. He died at the scene.  The driver of the SUV suffered injuries considered non-life-threatening.
