A man accused of assaulting a crossing guard in Delaware County has been arrested following a multi-agency investigation, authorities said. Rashiem Russell, 29, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody in connection with the March 16 assault in South Carolina, Darby police announced Friday, March 20. The incident happened in Hewlett, near Broadway and Stevenson Avenue, at around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23.
