Police: 20-Year-Old Chester City Man Facing Charges For Shooting Friend
A 20-year-old Chester City man who had two warrants out for his arrest is facing charges for shooting his friend, and leaving him critically wounded last year, authorities said. Detectives responded to a report of a gunshot victim at Crozier Chester Medical Center on December 30, 2020, where they met a man who had sustained a gunshot wound to the back of the neck, according to the City of Chester Police Department. Upland PD: Woman Spotted With White Powder Around Nose Busted With Meth
A 37-year-old woman spotted by a police officer with white powder around her nose was busted with methamphetamine, authorities in Delaware County said. Upland Borough police officer Ervin was on patrol when he spotted a woman who appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance around 5:20 p.m. on March 4, near West 22nd Street and Upland Avenue, police said. Ervin stopped the woman, identified as Katie Tobin, 37, of Trainer, and noticed she had white powder around one of her nostril's, along with other physical indicators of potential drug intoxication, police said in a release. …

DA: Cocaine, Assault Rifle Found In Bedroom Of Chester Man Convicted Of Strangulation
A Chester City man once convicted of strangling a woman is facing new charges after police found mass amounts of cocaine, an assault rifle and more in his home, authorities said. Myron Brown admitted to officers entering his West 22nd Street home on Feb. 26 that he had a black assault rifle and 12 pounds of synthetic marijuana, City of Chester Police Commissioner Steven Gretsky and Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said.
