DUI Crash In Beachside Vacation Spot Leaves Cyclist Badly Injured, Police Say A 21-year-old international student was seriously injured when a suspected drunk driver hit him in the heart of Rehoboth Beach, a popular Delaware vacation destination, police said. The crash happened just after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, in the 300 block of Rehoboth Avenue, according to the Rehoboth Beach Police Department. Suffolk County Police said the man walked into a UPS facility in East Farmingdale, located on Smith Street, shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, and showed the employee a fake ID. A Jamaican man who's been deported twice before was sentenced this week to federal deportation for a third time, authorities said.  Arik Hugh Halliman, 40, was arrested for illegal reentry into the country in July 2022 and pleaded guilty, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. A judge sentenced him on Monday, Feb. 27, to time served (seven months) and a third deportation order.  Police in Worcester County first arrested Halliman in 2008 on cocaine trafficking charges.
