Man Shot During Westchester Burglary, Police Say An alleged burglar was shot in the hand while attempting to rob a basement apartment in New Rochelle on Monday morning, police said. The New Rochelle Police Department received a report shortly after 12:45 a.m. on Monday, July 2, of a robbery at a Main Street apartment, and that one of the suspects involved had suffered a gunshot wound. The Fugitive Task Force has an arrest warrant for Jahmari “Wack” Cooper, who they hope to charge in the fatal shooting of Jeri “Racks” Kollock on Oct. 11, police said.
