Waterbury Shooting Suspect Caught After Multi-State Manhunt A man accused of shooting two people in Waterbury has been captured following a coordinated effort between Connecticut and Pennsylvania law enforcement. Man, 23, Shot Dead By US Marshal In Luzerne County A 23-year-old man was killed in a shootout with a US Marshals agent arresting him in Luzerne County Wednesday, Aug. 10, authorities said. Jordan Urenovitch, who was wanted on warrants for gun and drug charges, fired at a member of the Fugitive Task Force in Hazle Township when the deputy fired back, Pennsylvania State Police said. Deputies apparently spotted Urenovitch in a car before he bolted over to 22nd Street Auto Center and shot were fired around 12:40 p.m., according to PSP.  Urenovitch was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Luzerne County DA will handle the investigation.

Bridgeport Police Seek Teen In October Homicide BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a 17-year-old who is the suspect in an October homicide. The Fugitive Task Force has an arrest warrant for Jahmari “Wack” Cooper, who they hope to charge in the fatal shooting of Jeri “Racks” Kollock on Oct. 11, police said. Kollock was the victim of a robbery at around 4:30 p.m. in the stairwell of Building 1 of the Greene Homes housing project.
