A 32-year-old Jefferson Township man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday, June 7, in Denville, authorities said.
At 4:52 p.m., Paul Rankin Jr. was found unconscious slumped over the steering wheel on Franklin Road near the Route 46 traffic light, Denville police said.

Police: Hackettstown Driver Passed Out In Intersection Found With Heroin, Hypodermic Needle
A Hackettstown driver is facing drug charges after he passed out under the influence of heroin at an intersection, authorities said.
Officers saw a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Mitchell Road and Bells Lane Wednesday morning shortly before 5:30 a.m., Hackettstown police said.
Police approached the vehicle and allegedly located an orange needle cap belonging to a hypodermic syringe next to the driver, who was sleeping, authorities said.
Officers were able to wake the driver, identified as Eric Gaertner, 22, of Hackettstown, who was under the influence of heroin, authorities said.

A Hackettstown man was found with 60 wax folds of heroin and other drug paraphernalia at the NJ Transit Train Station, said authorities who charged him.
Hackettstown police arrived at the NJ Transit Train Station on Beatty Street after hearing reports of a disorderly man on Wednesday, Jan. 29 around 8 p.m., Hackettstown police said.
The man, identified as Noel Nieves, 32, was located in the bathroom, police said.

A 21-year-old area woman was allegedly busted for drug possession after Yorktown police spotted her acting "in a suspicious manner."
Krista Camacho, of Mohegan Lake, was arrested around 6:56 p.m., Thursday, March 14, after she was seen acting strangely in the area of East Main Street, said the Yorktown Police.
After watching her, police saw Camacho getting into the passenger side of a vehicle which was stopped by officers on Route 6, police said.
