Bergen County will serve as the backdrop for scenes in Scarlett Johansson’s new movie, filming this week.
Scenes from "Paper Tiger," a new crime thriller starring Scarlett Johansson, Miles Teller, and Adam Driver, will be filmed in Teaneck on Tuesday, July 8, according to Teaneck Mayor Mark Schwartz.
Filming will take place midday on Griggs Avenue, and in the morning and evening at Beatrice and Belle Avenues, the mayor said.

Hollywood buzz is in the air in Ridgewood as the village plays host to a one-day shoot for "The Housemaid," a new movie adaptation of Freida McFadden’s bestselling novel.
The production, which took place Friday, Jan. 3, transformed Green Way Market into a movie set, with overflow parking spilling into the Graydon Pool lot, Village Manager Keith Kazmark told Daily Voice.
Directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters), "The Housemaid" follows the story of “a struggling woman who is happy to start over as a housemaid for an affluent, elite couple,” according to IMDB.

Comedian/Actress, Age 39, With Local Roots Is Remembered As 'Silly, Humble, Kind'
A comedian and actress who got her start in Massachusetts in Northborough and Worcester died peacefully on Dec. 22.
Casey Reuter Durkin, age 39, was a longtime resident of Northborough as well as Los Angeles.
She was an actress, dancer, stylist, and comedian who worked with celebrities that include Beyonce, Faith Hill, Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dogg, and the Rolling Stones, according to her obituary in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
Durkin may have been best known for her roles in “48 Hours to Live,” “Flock of Dudes,” and “Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning,” according to IMDB.

New Movie 'I'm Thinking of Ending Things' Films At Area Diner
Brie Larson, "Captain Marvel," herself might not have been in the area, but other actors starring in her latest film, "I'm Thinking of Ending Things," were filming around the Hudson Valley this week, including at the Red Line Diner in Fishkill.
Members of the film crew and other actors, which starts Larson, were at the diner, but the star herself was not, said Hudson Valley Film Commission Director Laurent Rejto.
