Lanham Man Sprays Bullets From SUV On Busy Maryland Highway, Police Say
A Prince George’s County man is behind bars after allegedly firing dozens of shots from his SUV while barreling down a busy Maryland highway, police said.
Maryland State Police said Jose Gregario Cruz-Mendoza, 45, of Lanham, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 17, after multiple 911 callers reported a white Ford Excursion spraying bullets on I-97 and later along Route 50 in Annapolis.
Troopers from the Annapolis Barrack, with backup from Anne Arundel County Police, pulled over the SUV on Route 50 near I-97 around 4:30 p.m., officials said.

Troopers responded to the track, in the 27000 block of Budds Creek Road in Mechanicsville, on Friday, Aug. 2, for the report of a vehicle striking a parked RV, Maryland State Police said.

On Tuesday, July 29, three court authorized search warrants were executed in Atlantic City, Pleasantville and Mays Landing, resulting in the recovery of 7,650 individual bags of heroin, 902 fentanyl pills, more than five ounces of methamphetamine, three grams of cocaine, 123 suboxone films, a loaded handgun, and paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics, Atlantic City police said.

A Virginia man is facing serious charges after he allegedly pulled a gun during two separate road rage incidents in Maryland—firing at least one shot, according to state police.
Perry Ellis Barmore, 34, of Alexandria, was arrested in Virginia last week, after a joint operation by Maryland State Police and the US Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force.

A man was arrested after being found with a loaded handgun, Oxycodone, and two pounds of marijuana in Trenton, authorities said.
Randall, pictured above, was in the driver’s seat of a car parked near Hoffman Avenue as another man leaned into the window on Wednesday, August 10, police said.
The two men became “startled” as they noticed a patrolling officer, prompting an investigation, police said.

Man Busted With Meth, Gun During Traffic Stop In Region, Police Say
A 22-year-old man was busted with more than two ounces of crystal methamphetamine and a loaded 9mm handgun during a traffic stop.
The stop took place in Rockland County in Haverstraw on Route 202 around 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 31.
The drugs and gun were found during a stop of Ethan Iglesias, age 22, of West Milford, New Jersey, said Chief William Barbera, of the Rockland County Sheriff's Office.
Iglesias was arrested, processed, and remanded to the Rockland County Correctional Facility without bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, April 4, said Barbera.
