A dog found in Clark was reunited with his Texas family after going missing for two years, authorities announced Monday, March 9.
On Wednesday, March 4, officers were alerted to a lost dog roaming around the Clark Commons and she was taken into custody, Clark police said. At headquarters, a chip reader was able to successfully identify the dog, who had been missing out of Glen Ellis, Texas, a Dallas suburb, police said.

A Long Island man is begging for his fiancé's dog to be returned after a devasting fire left her fighting for her life.
The fire broke out around 5:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, at a home on Manhasset Trail in Ridge, said the Suffolk County Police.
During the fire, one of the residents, Patricia Slawinski, suffered burns to 40 percent of her body and remains in intensive care fighting for her life, said Lin Richburg.
