A Connecticut man who drove onto the sidewalk and crashed into and killed a grandmother has been charged nearly a year later, authorities announced. Ean King, 37, of Norwich, turned himself over to police on Monday, July 21, and was charged with reckless driving, operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, manslaughter, assault, and multiple traffic infractions, Connecticut State Police said. A 32-year-old Connecticut man was intoxicated when he struck a vehicle operated by a 22-year-old college senior, killing him last November, authorities announced on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
