Stratford Man Gets Prison Time For Role In Large-Scale Fencing Operation STRATFORD, Conn. — A Stratford man on Thursday was sentenced to 18 months in prison for his role in a large-scale fencing operation, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s office. From January 2012 to December 2014, Matthew Harwood, 43, and his co-conspirator Andrew Sacco would buy stolen goods from “boosters,” typically shoplifters with opioid addictions, and then resell the property at online websites such as Amazon and eBay, the statement reads.
