Meriden Bestiality Case: Second Arrest Made In Animal Sex Abuse Investigation
A week after a Connecticut woman was arrested and charged with filming herself sexually assaulting her dog, a man has also been charged in the case.
Damon Mesite, 28, of Meriden, was arrested on Friday, May 8, and charged with aiding and abetting sexual assault of an animal, aiding and abetting sexual assault of an animal by creating or distributing pornography, and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, police said.
He was ordered held on a $10,000 bond, Meriden police said.

A driving school instructor is accused of exposing teenagers to pornography during a behind-the-wheel lesson, police announced on Sunday, Jan. 11.
Mitchell Lerner, 75, of Melville, was arrested after an investigation found he showed pornographic videos and images to three 16-year-old boys while instructing them during a driving lesson in Smithtown, according to police.
The incident happened on Sunday, Dec. 22, while Lerner was driving with the teens during the lesson, investigators said. Lerner is employed by Defensive Driving School, located on Wheeler Road in Central Islip, police said.

Edgar Nova Lopez, 29, of Riverhead, was arrested on multiple sex crimes charges on Tuesday, Feb. 25, following an investigation by New York State Police.
A doctor contacted the agency in December 2024 stating they were performing a routine annual exam when the girl disclosed she had been sexually abused by Lopez, a family friend, police said.
