Police Chase Starting In Newtown, Bridgeport Ends With Home Invasion
A wild police chase that started in Newtown and continued through Bridgeport ended with a crash, a foot chase and a home invasion, according to Connecticut State Police. The incident began around 6:45 p.m. Monday when Troop A was notified by the Bridgeport and Newtown police departments that they were in pursuit of a 2014 white Honda Accord that was wanted for transporting firearms, state police said. Key state legislative committees moved a step closer last week Thursday on plans to place electronic tolls on highways throughout Connecticut.. The Transportation Committee as well as the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee passed Gov. Dannel P.
