A 39-year-old Skillman woman pleaded guilty on Monday, June 2 to robbing a bank in Princeton last year using a water pistol, authorities said.
On Sunday, July 28, 2024, Ciara Brascom entered the TD Bank and demanded cash from the teller, while holding what appeared to be a black handgun, U.S. Attorney Alina Habba said.

Authorities have identified the three people killed in a fiery crash on Route 1 in South Brunswick earlier this month.
Charisse Nelson-Bailey, 24, Daniel Vida, 28, and Maria Passalaris, 25, all died in the Friday, April 12 crash near Ridge Road, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
Just after the 9:40 a.m. accident, police said a van had been struck by a tractor-trailer before the van collided with two other vehicles. Both the tractor-trailer and van then caught fire.

Daniel Joseph Nelson, of Skillman, died in a crash on Route 206 on Dec. 1 — nearly three months after losing his father, Dan Nelson. He was 26 years old.

Herbert W. Hobler, age 96, died on Aug. 10 at the Stonebridge Retirement Community in Skillman, NJ.
Born in St. Louis, and the son of Atherton W. and Ruth W. Hobler, he grew up in Bronxville, attending kindergarten through the 7th grade with Mary Fitz Randolph whom he later married in March of 1944.
A graduate of the Hill School, he was in the class of 1944 at Princeton and during World War II he served as a B-29 navigator flying missions over Japan.
