Hundreds of people have rallied to support the Waterbury family of three brothers who were killed when the car they were in crashed into a corner store last week.
Brothers Kayden Torres, 20; Nelson Torres, 25; and Noel Torres, 15, died alongside Johnaven Puszka, 20, after the BMW they were in slammed into Hernandez Market at 45 Cherry St. around 12:45 a.m. Thursday, April 24, Waterbury police said.

A husband and wife from Falls Church were killed when their Tesla veered off the road and slammed into a tree in a quiet Northern Virginia neighborhood, police said.
Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 20, to the 6400 block of Lakeview Drive in Lake Barcroft, where they found a 2023 Tesla destroyed after a single-vehicle crash, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

A violent crash in Lexington Park left a 59-year-old woman dead after she was ejected from her vehicle when it overturned, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, near the Crossroads Apartments on Great Mills Road, when a 2015 Nissan Armada slammed into the back of a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, authorities said.

Two Fairfield County men involved in a serious crash in a BMW have been identified by police.
The crash, which took place at 4:20 p.m., Saturday, June 20, in the area of Cove Road in Stamford, critically injured one man, said Sgt. Jeffrey Booth, the supervisor of the department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad.
