Two Vineland residents were arrested and charged on Sunday, May 18, after a traffic stop in Atlantic City uncovered drugs and weapons, authorities said.
At 7:45 p.m., a license plate reader was triggered In Atlantic City indicating the registered owner of a vehicle had active warrants for his arrest, Atlantic City police said.
A traffic stop was conducted and Clarence Shambry, a 44-year-old Vineland resident, was taken into custody for the warrants, police said.

Police have linked a Connecticut man to a duffel bag containing drugs and firearms found in an abandoned apartment building last year, authorities said.
Geoffrey Feliciano, 37, of Ansonia, faces multiple felony charges, police said.
Ansonia officers responded to a call at an abandoned building in the 200 block of Main Street after someone discovered a duffel bag filled with cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl, meth, tramadol, ecstasy, and drug packaging material, police said. They also recovered seven guns, one of which had been reported stolen in Trumbull in 2003.

An Ocean County woman will spend time in prison after admitting to selling opioids and methamphetamine across New Jersey, authorities said.
Laurie Maxson, 54, of Barnegat, was sentenced on Friday, Apr. 12 to three years in state prison, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced in a news release. She pleaded guilty on Monday, Jan. 29 to conspiracy to distribute more than five ounces of methamphetamine.

Three Westchester County men have been indicted on charges they operated a complex drug-dealing operation that sent tractor-trailer loads of drugs across the country.
Giovanny Arias, Victor Salazar, and Hector Maren, all of White plains, are three of 11 people indicted following a two-year investigation, said the Queens Acting District Attorney John Ryan.
