Police are investigating the apparent suicide of a woman found in a wooded area near a busy Westchester County intersection. The discovery was made in the woods near the intersection of East Main Street and Lexington Avenue in Mount Kisco, where several businesses such as Ben & Jerry's are located, Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary said on Wednesday, May 21. Ice cream lovers in Hoboken can breathe a sigh of relief. The Ben & Jerry's at 405 Washington St. reopened on Wednesday, Jan. 22 following a brief closure for renovations that left those with a sweet tooth (even in the bitter cold) filled with anxiety when they walked by and saw the store closed and papered over. A man is behind bars in connection with a string of robberies targeting businesses in the region. Police in Saratoga County were initially called Sunday evening, Sept. 3, for a robbery in Saratoga Springs at the Ben & Jerry’s on Phila Street, according to police.
