Two men were arrested and charged after they impersonated first responders following a crash in Medford, authorities announced on Tuesday, June 17.
At 3:10 p.m., Saturday, May 17, officers responded to a crash on Route 70 and Medford Mount Holly Road, Medford Township police said. Patrick Rooney, 47, is accused of using a credit card belonging to the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority to pay for two rooms at the Springhill Suites in Unity Township for a week, Pennsylvania State Police said in a release on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

A Harrisburg man is accused of stalking, wiretapping, and impersonating a public servant in a series of alarming incidents, according to Lower Paxton police.
Valedy Ross, 30, of Harrisburg, repeatedly called, texted, and emailed the victim without a legitimate purpose, authorities said in a release. Ross also allegedly placed a recording device inside the victim’s residence, capturing private conversations between the victim and others, police announced on Monday, Dec. 2.
